Whitlow Smoke School Nation
The story of July 4, 2010
UNCLE BUCK WANTS YOU TO COME TO SMOKE SCHOOL
In the United States, Independence Day, commonly known as the Fourth of July, is
a
federal holiday commemorating the adoption of the
Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring independence from the
Kingdom of Great Britain. Independence Day is commonly associated with
fireworks, parades, barbecues, carnivals, fairs, picnics, concerts, baseball
games, political speeches and ceremonies, and various other public and private
events celebrating the history, government, and traditions of the United States.
Independence
Day is the
national day of the United States. This is a great time to forget your
troubles and have a great time with your family and friends. It is a great time
to celebrate being an American and being free. Freedom is not free, so let’s
don’t forget about our troops serving overseas and fighting for our Gulf of
Mexico. This year the Whitlow Family is planning an adventure. Uncle Buck,
Angie, Aaron, and my other brother Joe are going to pack up in Black Beauty the
Ford Excursion and go west young man go west. We plan on setting out July 1. The
first destination is Austin Texas, where we will have a
picnic with Willie Nelson. Then we
plan to have a nice visit with The Texas TCEQ in hopes of establishing a Whitlow
Smoke School presence in Texas. Then we plan on visiting a dude ranch, and tour
San Antonio, the
Alamo,
and Big Bend National Park Texas.
Eventually we plan to end up in Indiana to visit Joe, Heather, and my
granddaughter Keyda. I will update this site as the trip progresses.
