1. Download a registration form for fax or email. This is a Microsoft Word file.

2. Choose to save this file to your computer.

3. When you save the form name it after the name of your company.

4. You can then type out the information needed to complete the form.

5. Save the form again after you finish typing- remember where you saved it.

6. Then you can attach the form to an email to smokeschool@yahoo.com .

7. Simply type in the email text, then click on attach files, browse, download, and send.

8. If you are redemming your New Customer Free Seminar Coupon, please fax it to us with your registration if possible, or bring it with you to smoke school.

When you register be sure to include your preferences about attending the classroom & field-test, morning or afternoon session, day one or day two if it is a two day school.

You can register online by email, FAX, letter, or telephone. Registration by fax or email is the quickest and most accurate. We will be happy to answer the telephone.

You can also send the form or letter to us BY:  US Post Office (snail mail)

Instructions for what to include on a registration letter, if you don't like forms.

It is best to type out the registration letter so I can be sure to spell your name correctly on your certificate.  

To register, by letter include the following:

1. Company name/ Branch
2. Contact person
3. Mailing address
4. Telephone number and extension number at your desk
5. Cell phone number or pager
6. FAX number
7. Email address
8. Names of attendees to come
9. Indicate with a "C" who needs the classroom (recommended for new attendees and every 3rd year for veteran attendees)
10. Indicate with a "F" who needs the field-test and certification (valid nationwide for 6 months)
11. Indicate with an "L" who will be eating lunch
12. Primary choice of location and date of classroom desired
13. Primary choice of location and date of field-testing desired
14. 1st day, 2nd day, morning session, afternoon session- etc
15. Suggested locations for additional schools/ private schools are available- call us
16. If you are redemming your New Customer Free Seminar Coupon, please fax it to us with your registration if possible, or bring it with you to smoke school.

Participation in the Refer a Friend to Smoke School   

New Customers- Please include the company name and contact person that referred you to our smoke school.

Long time friends and customers- please include any friends that you referred to our school.

You will receive two invoices shortly. We will send one invoice by fax and a copy by snail mail. Please pay only one invoice.

The Whitlow team includes 4 retired Louisiana DEQ employees and other very qualified team members dedicated to routine maintenance, quality control, and customer service. With over 100 years combined experience in environmental protection and smoke school we are the experts. We choose locations with your comfort in mind. Each location has a convenient classroom, clean restrooms, a shelter form sun and rain, and a contrasting background for reading smoke. We serve you free hot coffee, fresh donuts, cold bottled water, sodas, and a great lunch at each location.  We desire to make you feel at home. We calibrate our equipment electronically and visually with the human eye before, during, and after each smoke school. We check the zero drift before and during each test run. If the zero is off, everything is off. We take our time giving the test, so you can keep up. We give precise instructions on how to take the test. If you pay close attention and bring a positive attitude, you will pass sooner than later. If you are having difficulty understanding what to do prior to the actual test, please ask for assistance. We are prepared to stay at each location until you certify to become a smoke reader. Remember, patience and attitude are everything. Be prepared. The first test run each day will take a little longer because we take the time to teach you how to take the test. Additional test runs will be quicker. Historically, most people pass by the third run because of our exceptional teaching skills. If necessary, we will retest until dark.

We would love for you to try Whitlow Smoke School and see the difference. If you have previously registered for, and paid for another upcoming smoke school by another provider, then send in a copy of your receipt along with your registration and you can attend your first Whitlow Smoke School free. What a deal!

We always provide hot coffee, fresh donuts, ice cold water, soft drinks, and great tasting lunches at each location. If you prefer a certain type of food please let us know before the school and we will try to accommodate your tastes.

Initially, we will choose smoke school dates compatible with previous smoke school providers. Eventually, we will provide additional dates in the hope of milder weather.
