Smoke school SCHEDULE

Location: Rural Home of Todd Jackson, 2982 LA Hwy 19, Ethel, LA 70730- This will be across the highway from Magnolia Creek Golf Course.  We will set up smoke school to the left of the barn where the overhang is. If it rains, you will stay dry in the barn. We will have plenty of contrasting background using the pine trees behind the barn. This is a beautiful country setting for smoke school in rural Louisiana. Bring your camera for the deer and birds. Bring your hiking boots for the trails in the woods.  Bring your golf clubs. We have room in the hayfield for a nice softball game after smoke school if you still remember how to swing a bat.

Government Grants for Smoke School

The Whitlow Team includes 3 retired Louisiana DEQ Inspectors or Environmental Managers with over 100 years combined environmental experience. Learn from experienced inspectors. Most of you remember when George Whitlow conducted smoke school for Louisiana DEQ for 20 years. The team includes the following retired DEQ inspectors: George Whitlow, Lloyd Blount, and Saint Paul Laird.

Attention all contact personnel: Please make sure to relay all of the information about smoke school to your employees. Be sure to include the agenda, driving directions and what to bring. If your employees do not have access to the internet, you should print the information and distribute it to the employees. Otherwise you can simply email the specific links to your employees. I appreciate your cooperation.

The report time for each day is 8 AM. When you register please include the day you want to attend. We should be finished with the field-testing by 11:30 AM each day. If all of your personnel can not attend the 8 AM session, please include this information on your Registration form or  Contact us email or phone ahead of time and we will be more than happy to add additional test sessions during the day if needed. Please send all people who need the classroom for the first field session at  8 AM.

I 20 east from Monroe to LA 15 north, to Natchez, to Flashing light in Woodville, to Hwy 24 west to Centerville, to Hwy 19 north past Wilson, then start looking for golf course on right. The farm is across the street and has 3 rubber made mail boxes. Cross the railroad and follow the driveway right until you see the barn. Set up left side of barn in the back corner.
